Process to make tarpaulin
A film is extruded by heating pure HDPE granules in an extruder
The film is slit and plenty of yarn are stretched and wound in spools
The spools are loaded on the knitting machine which knits the fabric for the tarpaulin
After the fabric is made it is laminated on both sides by molten LDPE , this makes the fabric waterproof
The waterproof fabric is trimmed and printed with branding
It is cut to sizes and seal jointed as per required customised size
The borders are hemmed with a rope for strength and eyelets are punched at the perimeter. Corners are reinforced.
What makes PREMIUM TARPAULIN different than the others.
3 major points
We always deliver the exact GSM , that is gram per meter value
There is no filler content in our material
To elaborate on this, most of the companies add cheap calcium in the extrusion process to increase weight of the material which in turns reduces the strength of the fabric. To prove our point we always advice to put a slit in the fabric and try to tear it , the more the calcium content the easy the material will tear. Our material will never tear.
Third ,we treat our raw material with UV stabilisers by 2%, this treatment is quite expensive and it increases the cost by a good 10 % . If proper UV is not done the plastic will degenerate in sunlight and the life will shorten.
The price of the tarpaulin will depend on 3 factors
A- GSM
B- Virginity value of plastic raw material - we give 100%
C - UV content
